Forests are a BFD which means that deforestation is very real environmental issue.
Beyond the very obvious problem of fewer trees meaning negative impacts on ecosystems, there’s also that pesky problem of carbon capture. To date, forests are still one of our best carbon sequesterers, so tending to their survival is tending to our own.
For a product to meet our sustainable forestry requirements, any paper, cardboard or wood used in product packaging must be FSC-certified. The FSC ensures that forests are responsibly managed, so that more trees are planted than cut down, to protect forest ecosystems for generations to come.
